Finding all of the resources for a TBI recovery is a daunting task. A plethora of options are available to TBI victims, but most of them are not worth your time or money. Even if you get loads of resources, how do you know the resources you have are the best for your specific TBI case? You might be missing out on a pivotal resource that could make or break your recovery.

I know in my own recovery from a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI), various packets and pamphlets were given to my caregivers about different resources available to me, but words on a page did little for my recovery.

I needed people

  • People that understood what I was going through.
  • People that knew what would actually help me.
  • People challenging and cheering in a way that no little “resource pamphlet” could ever do.

People are the reason I conquered and continue to conquer a severe TBI from two years ago.

People taught me cognitive exercises, which trained my brain enough to take the LSAT and get an above average score.

People helped me get married and stay married despite a TBI.

People showed me how to live a healthy lifestyle through proper diet and exercise.

People pointed me towards the right medications.

People counseled me through my depression, which kept me from ending my own life.

People introduced me to a lawyer and I earned justice for my injury.

Voice of TBI’s Improvement Over Injury (IOI) program is going to give you direct access to these kinds of people—people that believe in your improvement over your injury.
